Product Description After Professionally Grooming for 30 years I have found a NEW Favorite tool for removing undercoat from Large, Long-Double-Coated Breeds. Resco’s Coarse Tooth Rake Comb with Padded Handle and reversible stainless steel tines is FANTASTIC!!! Ergonomically correct, reducing stress on tired hands the Resco Rake Comb is a true professional’s tool! This tool is made here in the USA and is worth every penny! Perfect for removing undercoat from large double coated breeds such as Newfoundlands, Samoyeds, Collies, Great Pyrenees and other similarly coated breeds. The 1/8″ spacing between the tapered 1.5″ long tines easily penetrates the thickest of coats and is the perfect tool t use to “Test” what you have brushed on all of the long- double coated breeds. The tines of the rake comb are riveted through the spine, a trait of quality manufacturing. The comb can be reversed so that you have a negative rake angle for even more pull.
This tool is BETTER and more effective than a typical deshedding rake for Long- Double Coated Breeds. For best results loosen undercoat with a slicker before using the Rake Comb. Support the dog’s skin and Insert the rake- comb parallel against the skin and pull through. You will wonder how you ever did those large double coated dogs without this awesome tool!
