I have a 20# cat for whom I ordered this carrier. Once the carrier was assembled, it worked well and he was comfortable in the unit. It was a bit difficult to assemble since it holds together with several plastic clamps that are part of the upper and lower halves. You need a bit of arm strength to muscle it together while keeping the hingepins of the door aligned. It would work well to have an extra set of hands to help assemble it. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the servicability and the look of the carrier. Good product and good value for the money.

I had to put a cat on a plane from SF to Seattle, and this was the carrier I purchased for that purpose. It was of acceptable size and build. The plastic seemed kind of flimsy, but it held together fine. I tossed out the cheap shallow food dish and bought two small no-spill pieces to hook to the wire door.
He arrived safely and made the road trip to his new home in Canada just fine!

Pretty good crate. My pet weighs about 15lbs; the first time I picked up the carrier with him inside, the entire crate fell apart. It’s a pretty decent carrier and works well as long as I make sure the latches are secured every time I pick it up.

I currently have four of these. This one replaced a smaller one that my cat outgrew. Nice and secure, easy to assemble and clean. I haven’t had an issue yet.

This arrived promptly and it was what I expected. However, these are very think plastic and not really suitable for airline transport. It is great for a small dog sleeping crate.
